Paper Description
Ka tirohia ngā āhuatanga o te nekuneku haeretanga o te reo, ko ngā tohu ora reo, tohu mate reo o Aotearoa, tae atu ki ētehi āhuatanga e kaupare ana i te nekuneku haere o ngā reo moroiti. Ka tirohia hoki ētehi atu reo o tāwāhi kua kīia nei, he reo wairuhi, engari inā noa nei, kua whakaohooho mai aua reo mai i te manawa-kiore.
This paper examines Indigenous theory and practice, Indigenous language revival and Indigenous language revitalisation. It also looks at Māori immersion education activities alongside other Indigenous languages initiatives. Also included is an exploration of the way immersion education in overseas contexts can strengthen Māori medium education in Aotearoa.

Paper Structure
Kei te whakaako tēnei pēpa ā-kanohi ki te kanohi, ki te ipurangi hoki. Across the paper, there is a series of online tasks, designed to support you with your learning.
